The art of picking up women has progressed quite a bit from the old days where people traded lame pick-up lines. Guys like Ross Jeffries, Mystery, David DeAngelo and Neil Strauss started looking at the challenges facing men in this area in a more thorough and scientific manner, breaking down every aspect of the process using observation, trial and error and human psychology.
The approaches can be very different, but you can learn a tremendous amount about yourself in the process, and most importantly you can identify and eliminate glaring mistakes you been making for years. Some of the advice is counter-intuitive, but you’ll have plenty of moments where you realize how you’ve been making the mistakes that most men make in this process.
Our advice is to explore the advice from a variety of pick-up artists (PUA for short) and then decide what to try. At the very least you’ll become more self-aware and question some of the assumptions you have about women and relationships.
Eric Rogell explains how you have to avoid this at all costs when approaching women.

Neil Strauss: a.k.a. "Style"
Neil's book "The Game" is probably the best and most entertaining resource if you're interested in the world of pick-up artists and how to improve your own game. Neil recounts his personal journey as a successful writer who rarely "got lucky" with women to one of the best pick-up artists in the world. It's a fascinating read, and regardless of whether you pursue his strategies, you'll never look at women and interpersonal relationships in the same way. If you want to improve your game and hook up with more women, definitely check out his StyleLife Academy. Ross Jeffries – Speed Seduction
Ross Jeffries is the trailblazer in the area. His Speed Seduction exploded onto the scene years ago and spawned the new generation of pickup artists. Ross's system is based on NLP: neuro-linguistic programming. The notion here is that we are influenced greatly by our subconscious needs and desires, and that you can influence a woman's perception of you with the words and phrases you use when speaking to her. Words trigger responses in our brains, and NLP can be used for all sorts of self-help purposes. Speed Seduction is a fascinating system, and anyone who wants to improve how they approach and interact with women should explore Ross's program.
The creator of the "cocky-funny" approach detailed in the Double Your Dating system is one of the most widely read and followed pick-up artists around. We have carried his article for years, and you can check them out for some incredible advice on improving your game.
The "Open Her Box" program is unique as Vin explains the different "types" of women, and how you need to alter your approach depending on what type of women you are with. How do you know? He offers three simple questions that will let you know her type, and then from there you will know how to proceed!
Neil Strauss was initially trained by Mystery as the two of them became friends. As time went on Style developed his own persona and techniques, but much of what he learned was based on the Mystery Method. Parts of it are not for everyone, but Mystery is a genius at breaking down the components of human interaction. You'll learn a ton of stuff from this guy. You also might recognize him from his show on VH1.
