After graduating from Michigan University, Selma initially set out for New York to chase a photography career, but she soon turned her interests towards acting. After earning her Screen Actor's Guild card for her work on a television commercial, Selma made her acting debut on the Nickelodeon hit series "The Adventures of Pete and Pete." She soon became the subject in a number of critically favored independent films like "Girl," before finally getting her own short lived series on the WB, "Zoe." Selma's breakthrough role came by way of a teasing lesbian kiss scene with "Buffy" star Sarah Michelle Gellar in the teen melodrama "Cruel Intentions," a role that gained her an MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss and enough horny fans to last a lifetime. Selma's dry performances have turned a number of critics off in the past, not to mention a good deal of the male population, but as long as Selma continues to flaunt her semi-naked body on screen, we'll be there to watch her.

Selma Blair on the Screen
Aside from her innocent girl-turned-bad role in "Cruel Intentions," Selma can also be found in the Reese Witherspoon comedy "Legally Blonde," "A Guy Thing" co-starring Julia Stiles and Jason Lee, and a trip back to her indie roots in Todd Solondz's "Storytelling," where she can be seen nude for the first time, but hopefully not the last. Selma may not show off her awesome body as much as most of our Celebrity Babes, but she still has the goods worth checking out. Oh yeah, and she's an amazing actress too.
Selma's most anticipated film is definitely the sequel to Guillermo Del Toro's Selma sequel to the highly-stylized comic book film "Hellboy," but is also expect to appear in the Edward Burns-directed "Purple Violets," the comedy "The Night of the White Pants," and "Chlorine."
On her role in Hollywood:
"As an actress, I think it would be a waste for me to try and play the glamour part, because truthfully, I am really not at all that."
