The hottest plain Jane to hit Hollywood in years, Jennifer Aniston surprised everyone when she suddenly exploded onto the scene in 1994. Jennifer is too good to be true, sporting a great body, good-natured personality and, as Jack Black would say, "face-melting" good looks. And to think Jennifer always knew she'd be a star. In high school, Jennifer's participation in the drama club sparked an interest for acting that never died, though her love for painting made it hard to concentrate; one of her paintings was even displayed in New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art when she was only eleven. After graduating from New York's School of Performing Arts in 1987, Jennifer shortly began work in off-Broadway productions before getting her first TV role as a regular on "Molloy" and the film-inspired TV series "Ferris Bueller," both complete failures. She then went on to star in the original "Leprechaun" before auditioning for a new TV show set to debut in 1994.
Jennifer's hot career was ignited when she joined six other no-name Hollywood brats on the NBC sitcom "Friends." While all six friends were given equal opportunity to shine on primetime's greatest night, it was Jennifer's down-to-earth personality and fad-setting fashion that made her one of the show's most loved characters. To add to her fame, Jennifer gave new meaning to fashion, when women around the world demanded their hairstylists to give them the "Rachel." For her dramatic turn in the independent feature "The Good Girl," Jennifer received Best Actress nominations from the Independent Spirit Awards and the Golden Satellite Awards, later winning an 2002 Emmy and a 2003 Golden Globe for her work on "Friends." Jennifer's beauty hasn't escaped anyone either, named as one of People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People in 2004, her fourth time on the list, though her greatest media-covered achievement has to be her marriage to Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt. As Jennifer ventures farther into Hollywood with her current success as a big-time TV actress and small-time film star, it'll be interesting to see how much in demand she will be as a star over the next five years.

Jennifer Aniston on the Screen
Jennifer's role on the NBC sitcom "Friends" helped in constructing the tall platform she's smiling on top of today. Aside from raking in one million dollars per episode in the show's final seasons, Jennifer has launched an impressive film career and production company, Plan B Productions, with hubby Brad Pitt. Her first film roles in the Mike Judge work-inspired comedy "Office Space" and "Rock Star," the fictional biography of wannabe Judas Priest front-man quickly proved to critics that she could make it in a world without her friends. Jennifer quickly followed up with a dramatical role in the Sundance-favorite "The Good Girl" to high critical praise while she continued to please fans as Rachel Green. Most recently, she co-starred alongside Jim Carrey in "Bruce Almighty" and Ben Stiller in 2004's "Along Came Polly." Now that Jennifer's busy schedule on "Friends" has come to a disappointing end, she will no doubt begin the new road to becoming a successful film actress and entrepreneur.
On becoming famous:
"When somebody follows you 20 blocks to the pharmacy, where they watch you buy toilet paper, you know your life has changed."
On being a sex symbol:
"Nobody thinks of themselves as sexy, really. Some days you go, 'Hey, I'm not going too bad today.' But if you try and be sexy, you'll never be sexy."
