CD Reviews: Red Rocker

Red Rocker grew up banging his head in Central Ohio. Following early career moves to Atlanta and Washington D.C., he settled into a quiet suburb south of Dayton, OH where he currently earns his CD and concert ticket money as a financial advisor for a Wall Street firm. Besides a life-long love of music, Red Rocker values his family, his country and the Pittsburgh Steelers. While he refuses to make an official declaration of a favorite band, Rocker believes the Black Crowes and The Replacements have been the most important bands of his time. Having been raised on a steady diet of 1980s hair metal and classic rock (Def Leppard, Journey and Rolling Stones), his thirty-something ears have evolved toward a fondness for the alt-country rock genre (Uncle Tupelo, Neil Young and Ryan Adams). He cherishes a CD collection of more than 1,000 and has seen nearly 300 concertsand still counting.
