The 2011 Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson is the kind of vehicle that commands attention on the road. We recently test drove one of these luxury trucks and we’re convinced that Ford stopped at nothing to brand this top truck for all of the Harley-Davidson fans out there.

Exterior

The tuxedo black metallic paint on the 2011 F-150 Harley-Davidson is dressed up with graphics on the side of the truck and the hood. These orange and silver streaks really distinguish the Harley-Davidson F-150 from anything else on the road. The new front fascia with a six-bar billet-style satin chrome grille and blacked out lower grille add a refined look to the truck. The 22-inch forged wheels lift the truck high enough to make the integrated deployable running boards a big help. With all of the chrome on with the 2011 Ford F-150 Harley Davidson, this truck balances the fine line between luxury and ultra cool sportiness.

Interior

Here is a quick list of what you get when you enter the 2011 Ford F-150 Harley Davidson: electronic auto temperature control, heated and cooled driver and passenger seats, heated rear seats, ambient lighting, memory driver seat and pedals, rear view camera, SYNC voice activated system, 4.2″ LCD screen, and the list goes on. Our preferred equipment package boasted a Sony navigation radio along with other functional upgrades. The black leather seats were obviously inspired by iconic motorcycle jackets. The truck is only available in a super crew cab with a 5.5.foot bed with a Harley-Davidson logo smack in the middle of the bedliner. The center console also sports a huge Harley Davidson Logo, which ties together one of the coolest interiors I have seen.

Performance

The 2011 F-150 Harley Davidson has standard 4×4 with a 6.2-liter 2V EFI V8 Engine that produces 411 horsepower, 434 lb-ft of torque and up to 9,300 lbs towing capacity. The Harley truck is packed with up to date technology including a failsafe cooling system, power rack & pinion steering, reverse sensing system, select shift transmission and tailgate step. If you plan on towing, the truck has trailer sway control and a trailer towing package. The engine isn’t the most powerful in the truck’s class but is more than sufficient. The overall ride of the 2011 Ford F-150 Harley Davidson is pretty darn good for a truck and the uniqueness of the vehicle make it hard to compare to anything else on the road.

Overview

The 2011 Ford F-150 Harley Davidson is one of those rare vehicles that has a very loyal target audience. There aren’t too many brands that could pull off a specialty truck like Ford and Harley Davidson. It only gets 12mpg city driving and 16mpg on the highway, and the sticker for our test model was $52,740, but nothing can keep a Harley enthusiast closer to the brand in the off-season. For those who love the Harley-Davidson brand and have the bucks to splurge, plenty of fun and attitude await them in the 2011 Ford F-150 Harley Davidson.
